late night sketching

I miss camping.

It's hard to explain exactly why camping is such a spiritual experience for me. Waking up at dawn and breathing in the first early morning cold breath and feeling the energy of the earth flood into your veins. Lazing in the afternoon in your cot reading comics in the soft sunlight. Almost burning your eyebrows off with a blazing inferno of lighter fluid doused firewood. Cooking your food over a fire in the pitch blackness of night. Being sung to sleep by the roaring of the ocean. Then waking up and doing it all over again the next day.

It is the most alive i ever feel.

If you can, go. Go for those of us who can't.

Anyways, i sketched this while i was daydreaming about Morro Bay.

Ball bounce animation

Still needs some editing, but this is what i've got so far:

It's a classic ball bounce exercise for my animation class at CSUF.
