Character design from last semester

I totally forgot to post this last year and, looking back, it's one of the best character drawings(of mine) of the year.

If things go the way i hope they will, i'll be animating this character next semester.

A character from school

This was the first character from my Cartooning class.

The assignment was to take an inanimate object and characterize it.  Had fun till i realized (at the crit) that we could color them digitally (which i was unaware of) and made the Art student owl face(without the cigarette).  Next time (and, depending on the grade i get for the assignment) i will be coloring and inking digitally.

Homework

Hey all out there in digital world,

Besides a random attack thunderstorm, the world has been pretty quiet for a few days, so i finally had some free time to post some stuff up here.  Here's some of the work from my cartooning class:
