New story

Rewriting a short in my free time for school is exhausting.  But a good exhausting, like when you come down off a rock you've been climbing.

Anyway, here it is:
Three explorers in a canoe, time to discover.

More on that later,

Have a good one,

So.....

Heh, sorry about missing the last few weeks.  I've been very busy at school and i went on a small vacation.  Anyway, i have a ton of work to put up here, which i will attempt to get to all at once, but may have to be separated.

Anyways,

heres some characters from my Cartooning and Caricature class.

The second project was an animal design.  Our group got bunnies.

This is Rosie, a mother rabbit of four.  It was fun doing the research for her forms.  Another classmate and I went to Disneyland and drew from the people walking around.  If you have the means to go to the park inexpensively, i highly recommend it.  There are around 40 thousand people there everyday, so the people types are endless.

After that project, we came up with two sidekicks that would hang out with our characters.

The characters were fun to come up with.

The next project we worked on was a lame super hero.

I came up with "The Creeper."  A man who once played an epic game of hide and seek.  He was so good at hiding that, after no one could find him, he stayed hidden.
It's funny some of the things we come up with.  I found a reference to Dora the Explorer in my character with the saying: "Creeper, NO CREEPING!!!!"

It was interesting playing with super hero costumes.

In another class, we've been playing with silouette forms and contrast.
This is a recent rendition of the project.

And i have been working on some of my own projects.

yep, still movin forward with some of my ideas.

And here's a preview of some photos i took on Catalina Island:

So, hopefully this post has made up for the last few weeks of silence.

Anywho, have a good one,

Lucas
